It’s National Fitness Month and WE’re Celebrating by Walking in the Woods

May is National Health and Fitness Month, and what better way to kick off the summer than with a renewed commitment to your health? We all know that staying fit and healthy isn’t just good for your body – it’s good for your mind, too!

At GEN 7, we believe that the best way to be healthy is to stay active. It’s time to get out there and enjoy the warm weather. We know you’ve got all kinds of excuses for not exercising – from being too busy to having no energy, to being too sore from yesterday’s workout.

But here's what we want you to know: none of those are good excuses for sitting on your butt all day. If you can't manage an hour-long run or a yoga class thrice a week, try doing 10 pushups every hour while at work. If that sounds like too much of a commitment, then just stand up every hour and take five deep breaths.

We know it's not easy getting through even one workout when your life is so busy. But taking care of yourself is an essential part of living life in full color, so make sure you're always prioritizing it!

This May, The Meritage Resort and Spa invites you to “Move in May - Rise and Grind Hike Circuit with Yadira” at the Vineyard Hiking Trail. Get out of the gym and into nature on May 12th! Get ready to move through the beautiful landscape with amazing views while stopping for the perfect body-weighted exercises. Your instructor will guide you through this highly engaging class.
