California wineries have long been leaders in environmentally-friendly practices because they recognized early on that wine grapes are one of the susceptible crops to global warming. The state’s most famous wine region is also home to some of the world's oldest and most respected vineyards – and it’s not just because of their incredible wines! It is also because of their incredible commitment to caring for the land around them.

GEN 7 Wines 2014 Pinot Noir
Our 2014 Pinot Noir is quite unique. In this video, winemaker Tim Bacino describes more about how he started developing the Burgundian-style Pinot Noir that we produce.
The grapes come from Clark & Telephone Vineyard, which is located near the corner of Clark Avenue and Telephone Road in the Santa Maria Valley. The area where this beautiful vineyard lays is cooled by the ongoing ocean breeze and fog that comes in from the Pacific Ocean.
The Napa Valley River
Earlier this year, Napa had some heavy rainfall which often threatens to make the Napa Valley River overflow. In the video below, Tim shows the Napa Valley River as it got very high during heavy rains. He also takes us into the Oxbow Public Market which is one of the few locations you can purchase our wines outside of the tasting room.
